Outbreak in Flux is a site-specific and interactive installation where sweeping gestures by the audience cause waves, ripples or bellows in a sea of elliptical particles. Each ball-shaped particle is always in motion, charged with the energy of the hundreds of others that surround it; and the participants'  movements push, pull and repel as a force behind an emulated physics system. Outbreak in Flux is designed to transform perception in space, ultimately using man-made technologies to reproduce an impossible, but organic, system.
