IRL (In Real Life)

A Social Surrogate Robot.

IRL (In Real Life) is a networked robotics experiment that explores the notion of digital surrogacy in real space, and its resulting social alter-egoism.  With this social-surrogate robot a user is able to explore the real world via a digital interface, without leaving the comfort of their home or office.
